Fall Festival - How to Help
We need your help for a successful event:
1. Help sponsor our Fall Festival by October 18
- Our Fall Festival is a FUNdraiser!
- Can you or a business you know sponsor the festival?
- Corporate, family, and individual sponsorships are welcome.
- Reach out to your contacts and help us spread the word.
- You can read about and pay sponsorships on our website under Fundraising > Fall Festival Sponsorship.
- We have a letter for you to share with your contacts with a hyperlink to our website (better for emails and texts) and a letter with a QR code to our website (better for printing and delivering).
- Contact volunteer Nicole Vander Griend with any questions at nicole.vandergriend@gmail.com.
2. Pre-order your t-shirts, tickets, and wristbands by October 18
- Avoid the line at the ticket tent by pre-ordering.
- Pre-sale orders will be delivered to classrooms the week of October 28.
- Only pre-ordered t-shirts will be printed. You cannot buy a t-shirt after October 18.
- To pay with credit card go to My Account > My Forms/Paperwork > Fall Festival Order Form.
3. Treat a staff person to lunch
- Please contribute donations to help us provide a free Dad's Club meal to all BCS staff at the Fall Festival. Each meal is $8. Thank you!
- To pay with credit card go to My Account > My Forms/Paperwork > Fall Festival Order Form.
4. Donate to lunch and concessions from October 24-30.
- If you can, please donate items to support the Fall Festival and bring them to school from October 24-30.
- PreK - 2nd grades: bring chips in individual bags to the lobby or drop off at carpool to support the Dad's Club Grill
- 3rd - 6th grades: bring juice boxes, water bottles, and canned sodas to the lobby or drop off at carpool to support the Dad's Club Grill
- 7th - 8th grades: bring sodas, sweet & salty snacks to the Middle School team for their Concession Stand (more details will come from the 7th & 8th grade teachers)
5. Be a festival volunteer - Sign up to volunteer here!
- We need more than 200 festival volunteers for 1-hour shifts (that's at least 9 volunteers from every classroom).
- Sign up to help at the booth assigned to your homeroom or under General Volunteers if your both is full.
- Go to My Account > My Forms/Paperwork > Volunteer Opportunities > Fall Festival Volunteers. Be sure to click the Save button at the bottom of the form.
- Volunteers manage the line of kids at their booth, check wristbands, and collect tickets. (You won't be strapping kids into rockwall harnesses or painting their faces yourself.)
- First shift volunteers, arrive early and find your booth before the festival begins.
- High school students are welcome to volunteer if they are older than 16 years of age. This is a great way for high school students to fulfill community service hours! (Note: Our online signup does not allow us to include a field to type in your high school student's name, so you would need to sign them up under your name for the volunteer slot they want to fill. And when they check in at the volunteer tent, they should look for your name in the sign up.)
