What is a Class Rep?

  *   A Class Representative (formerly Room Parent) is a liaison between the teacher and classroom families.

  *   There can be more than one per classroom!

  *   Reps can be parents, guardians, or grandparents.

What Do I Need to Do?

  *   Delegate duties or do them yourself－it's up to you.

  *   Some duties involve:

      +  Coordinate school communication between PTO & classroom families

      +  Plan classroom volunteer efforts & parties

      +  Collect & track funds for teacher gifts & classroom parties
