Meet the PTO President

My name is Sarah Larson and this is my 7th year at Briarmeadow Charter School (BCS). I am married to my wonderful, supportive husband, Stephen, and we have 4 kids. My three oldest children attend BCS. Jordan is in 5th grade, Holly is in 3rd, and Audrey is in Kinder! My goals as PTO President are:

• First and foremost to spread kindness and joy around our campus. I believe that a smile and a hello can make a difference in someone's otherwise bad day.
• To ensure that I work closely with the other members of the board to plan and execute successful fundraisers so that we can then use those dollars to directly benefit our student community,
• To communicate and collaborate with our faculty and staff to make sure that they feel as though their voices are heard and they have our (the parents') support as the very special educators that they are.
• Last, but definitely not least, to take pride in and beautify our campus. I'd like to instill in every person on campus (young and old) what I was taught when I was a little girl:  "Leave things better than you found them." I hope you'll work with me to achieve this goal by having conversations with your students about litter/taking care of their environment as well as joining us throughout the school year when we host campus work days.  "Many hands make light work," and together we have a LOT of hands!

You'll probably see me around the campus a lot, because I just love being there and helping out. Don't turn on music, though, because I'm likely to bust out a dance move! Thank you all for a great start to the 2023-2024 school year, and YEEEEEE-HAW! Go Broncos!
