Standing Committees

 

Fundraising Committee

Responsible for fundraising subcommittee activities, including the auction, Fall and Spring fundraisers, and other fundraising events.

 

Volunteer Coordination Committee

Responsible for identifying needs and for recruiting, signing up, and training volunteers. 

 

School Life Committee

Responsible for enhancing the morale, welfare, communication, and sense of community among students, parents, guardians, faculty, and staff.

 

Budget and Finance Committee

Responsible for estimating revenue and evaluating expenditure proposals from members, and recommends a budget to the Board of Directors based upon Board-approved annual program of activities and initiatives. This committee is comprised of the Officers of the PTO and the Fundraising Chair.

 

Class Representatives Committee

Responsible for class representative coordination and communication. This committee is comprised of one class representative from each classroom and the committee chair.

 

Buildings and Grounds Committee

Addresses campus beautification, improvements, maintenance, playground equipment, signage and safety.

 

Publicity and Marketing (Communications) Committee

Responsible for the PTO newsletter, promotional materials for the PTO and support for the school. Establishes and maintains public relations, assists with school tours, and communicates with neighborhoods.
