How do I drop off and pick up my children?

See BCS's HISD website for the latest information.

Children are dropped off and picked up using the school carpool lane. Staff are on hand to assist your child as they exit your vehicle and to help them locate their classrooms. Information will be shared on Bloomz about carpool lane location/s, traffic flow, and options for walking your child to school. Expect wait times of up to one hour or more, at both dropoff and pickup for the first week of school. BCS staff work hard to minimize wait times, but it is a steep learning curve at the start of the year.

How will I find my student at dismissal time?

All caregivers that are authorized to pick up students from our campus in the carpool lanes must download this app and use it. The app allows parents to announce their arrival on campus so that students can be placed for pickup. BCS uses the PikMyKid app for dismissal only
