Fall Festival Tips

The BCS Fall Festival is Saturday, November 2, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

It’s great fun and an important fundraiser for the school.

Pre-Order

  • Pre-order tickets to avoid a long line at the ticket table on the day
  • Pre-ordered t-shirts and tickets will be delivered to students in their classrooms a few days before the Festival.
  • If you do not receive what you were expecting, please inquire at the ticket table on the day of the Fall Festival.

Types of Passes

  • Wristband:  Includes unlimited rides and games (i.e. “non-consumable” activities like the bounce house, slide, train, rock wall, swing ride, bean bag toss, skee ball).  Note:  “Consumables” are not included with a wristband.
  • Tickets (sold in sheets of 10):  If you don’t buy a Wristband, you will need tickets for each ride and game; most range 1 to 3 tickets in cost. Even with a Wristband, tickets are required for all “consumable” activities like confetti eggs, henna tattoo, coffee bar, concessions.
  • Meal Ticket:  Includes chips, drink and your choice of hamburger, hot dog, or grilled cheese sandwich.
  • Treat a staff member to lunch:  If you can, please donate to treat a staff member to lunch.

How much should you buy?

It depends. My family stays all 3 hours. I buy each kid a Wristband, 2 sheets of tickets, & a meal ticket plus meal tickets for the adults. We run out of tickets before we leave. If you have tickets leftover, you could get more concessions to go.

Park and Walk

  • There is no parking in the Briarmeadow lots because the Fall Festival takes place over the entire campus, including the parking lots.
  • If you live nearby, please walk from home if able.
  • If you need to drive, parking is available at KIPP SHARP College Prep Lower School.
  • KIPP is immediately south of Briarmeadow on Dunvale. The address for KIPP is 8430 Westglen Drive, but you should enter to park from Dunvale.
  • Come early before the parking spots fill up!

What’s It Like?

  • Everything happens outside. Dress accordingly.
  • It’s like a big party. Older kids are free to run around with their friends. Parents don’t need to follow them around everywhere. There are lots of activities to keep the kids busy and entertained for 3 hours.
